Account & Data Deletion – Anathem
If you would like to request deletion of your Anathem account and associated personal data, please follow the steps below.
How to request deletion
Please email support@anathem.ai
from the email address associated with your account and include:
Your full name
The email address linked to your account
Confirmation that you would like your account and/or specific data deleted
We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.
Requesting partial data deletion
If you would like specific data to be deleted (without deleting your account), please specify this in your request. For example, you may request deletion of:
Individual transcripts or recordings
Generated documents
Specific consultations or records
What data is deleted
Depending on your request, we will delete:
Account information (e.g. name, email address, user ID)
Transcripts, audio recordings, and generated documents
User-generated content and associated metadata
Data that may be retained
In some cases, we may retain limited data where required for:
Clinical safety and continuity of care
Legal and regulatory obligations
Audit and compliance purposes
Secure backup systems (typically retained for up to 30 days before permanent deletion)
Where applicable, retained data will be securely stored and access strictly limited.
Processing time
We aim to process all deletion requests within 30 days, in line with UK GDPR requirements.
Important information
Deleting your account may impact your ability to access clinical or operational records previously created using Anathem. If your account is associated with an organisation (e.g. NHS Trust or police force), some records may be retained by that organisation in accordance with their legal obligations.
